WHO AM I
My name is Ocean Atwood. I am from a small town in Nova Scotia called Barrington Passage. I am a 20-year-old dog mom, nursing student, and adventure seeker. I am currently attending Dalhousie University and am in my final year of studying to be a Registered Nurse. I own two dogs, Abby, whose a german shepherd and Jersey, whose a chocolate lab. My interests include dogs, fishing, hiking, kayaking, craft beer, traveling, writing, and country music.
I also have a speech impediment. I have stuttered since I was six years old and it has impacted my life greatly. Recently, I have been more accepting of my stutter and know that this is a part of me. Stuttering is a communication and disfluency disorder where the flow of speech is interrupted. I have posted a blog about this if you're interested in learning more!
WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

Outside of North America, I have traveled to Varadero, Cuba and Cuzco, Peru (the most EXCITING trip ever!).
In 2019 my trips planned include Phuket, Thailand and Dublin, Ireland.
